LOL, you guys making me laugh. This is a true story and my druid was named Bildge. My wife didn't make me quit, as my post said, though she threatened to delete the game. Wife doesn't have time for EQ she's got a farm to tend to.

Yes I suck at EQ there is no doubt about it, and yes I was building a deep emotional attachment to the game and especially the frustration of almost making a level. I only had one bubble to fill into get to 11 then I died three times and had about three to fill in.

I went to the tunnel and asked for SoW and was usually ignored, I'm not going to be a dick and spam over and over again. I saved up money and bought the cheapest weapon I found someone selling, a jaggedpine crook, it was worse then the warhammer I'd been using but at least it would hit wisps.

The game was turning into me casting root and nuking a blue mob to death unless the root broke then trying to reroot if I was lucky. I then had to sit for a few minutes and watch my blue bar fill up again so I could do it all again. I was thinking to myself. I'd gladly give someone a dollar for a clarity so I wouldn't have to sit here.

Like I said, awesome game and I was really getting into it. In fact I was waking up at 5AM so I could play an hour before work. Then trying to play every hour I could spare in the evening. Thought I'd better quit before I was addicted.
