Eye of Zomm Aggro

Does anyone know when Eye of Zomm stopped aggroing mobs?

I used it mainly while going into undead zones (to target the mob and hit pet attack without having to go into the room and get jumped by 5 mobs) and also during raids to see some of the pulling action, because mages are supposed to sit behind and wait.

Now that the eye aggros, I can't do any of these 2 uses.

Did the aggro get removed before luclin?
