Why play a paladin?

Just asking, but why would enchanters be any good at solo? Their spells do very little damage, not very mana efficient. A mage usually can solo a lot stronger stuff than enchanter.

Enchanter is one of the few classes I have not played, so don't know much about them.

charm 2 mobs = mob dps to 2 mobs simultaneously = most mana efficient and highest dps in the game
