That is totally wrong. Trolls level faster because they have regen and are really strong, so they gave them an EXP penalty to even things out.

Ogres level faster because they have insta twink by having the best stats ever..so they level a LITTLE slower to even things out. Trolls level slower than ogres.

It totally makes sense and the number of ogres and trolls and iksars in game are evidence of the fact that it works great.

If you want to be RP about it you can say that it is because trolls and ogres are so stupid that they receive experience slower than other races.

Sure, Trolls and Ogres have much better stats. Those stand out and are a little too strong imo, but there are plenty of other examples of things that stand out;

Clerics are the undisputed kings of healing, no class comes close to it. This should by your logic yield a penalty?

Erudites are better int-casters then other races etc.

I guess what really bothers me are the hybrid penalties. The are completely unreasonable and should never have been implemented.
