Default My friend sucked me back into this game after a ~26 year hiatus

Well met, travelers! I saw a thread regarding younger players, and interestingly enough - my friend who is in his 30s, told me about this project. No idea where he'd heard of it. I think he's been playing for a while now.

I managed to get it up and working - I even have my original cloth map somewhere from back in the day.

My friends were all LAN gaming back then (circa 1999) and someone in our group informed me: "Go buy this game. Don't question it!" So I did - and got sucked in pretty hard.

We actually played on the Test server, in hopes of avoiding a lot of the problems the other servers had. Eventually, they wiped test, and that was the excuse I needed to quit cold turkey. I was dating my future wife at the time, so it seemed like a good idea.

Anyway, I was Ergo Soulhealer, High Elf cleric. And it's possible you've even seen my Qeynos sewers map which is still floating around the internet. I diligently created that, to scale, with Microsoft Paint.

You'll find me currently in Butcherblock with an (almost) level 5 wood elf Bard named Aoeryn.

But - some questions!!

Are there classes which are sorely under-represented? I might be tempted to make another high elf cleric if people are like "OMG, PLEASE!!" lol

Second question - are there crafting skills that are sorely under-represented? I don't recall ever delving into crafting much when I played back in the day, but I'd be interested in giving that a try.
