Default Hail, and do a lot of young people play EQ now?

Ho! I'm just a good old dorf returning to EQ from my hole in the ground I've been digging in. Hail and all that. remember 2003? Man it was a wonderful year in retrospect, at least as far as the life went. Emojis were cooler too ^_^. By Brell's stein I'm hoping my brethren with a taste for it all found goodly gold in their journeys neath the earth since then. At least enough to buy them some time back in Norrath!

Anyhoo I have a funny question at the back of my mind...are the denizens of p99 Norrath (and maybe other servers) mostly aging OG vets, or has new blood trickled in over the years? Retro gaming is an awfully big thing now and if what i've seen is any guide, it's full of whippersnappers. Do we have any idea what the median age is? 30, or way older? I'm just sizing up the vibe lol.

signed, "the nooby boomer". *resumes chipping rocks*
