Game Mechanics: Icehackle Summoning

Seems that Icehackle currently summons, unlike his counterparts Tantor and Strong Horn.

Not able to find anything saying he summons pre-2002 but a ton of stuff saying he doesn't summon 2002-> on and no other EMU Database I can find shows him with the 'summon' flag.

He conned even to me at 61. Did not summon, does not cast, but did flurry on my DC bronto pet a few times, and thus me as well. The flurrying foolishness stops if you keep aggro off pet and keep him moving.

He dropped nothing but good exp. If you can do Tantor, you do him without any trouble.

Killed Icehackles today with my 60 druid. This guy dropped the Song: Occlusion of Sound and Spell: Nature Walker's Behest for me. Snared him without much difficulty with Glamour of Tunare. Was a long, easy kite with KEI.

Just killed this guy a bit ago. It doesn't summon. After debuffing with Glamor of Tunare it snared easilly and all my magic based DOTs stuck with no resists. Had no trouble getting a smouldering disjunction on it either and fire nukes hit for max damage. No drops but very nice XP. It also conned yellow to me at 60.

Solo'd this guy a few days back, maxed on me for mid 200's couldnt snare/root and had a decent amount of HP. Runs just under SoE speed and I wouldnt try soloing him unless you have a focus for fast dot casting (ie. Circlet of the Falinkain). Amusing kite, lasted 20mins with no KEI and dropped nothing, bout a blue aa anyhow.
