They should do something about booby trapping quest npcs
Have been on both sides of this issue, as the seller of an MQ and the buyer of an MQ. People load up quest npcs with the easy-to-get items (like velious armor gems), then as soon as somebody comes along to do an MQ the seller gets the reward and loses his MQ, and the buyer gets nothing. The buyer is then forced to totally stiff the seller, or pay them anyway for nothing. It's just an awful situation for both parties.
I know they've stated in the past they don't get involved with MQs that go wrong, but it does seem like a pretty clear example of defrauding other players. You just aren't defrauding a specific player, but you're certainly removing an item from somebody under false pretenses.
I'm of two minds about MQs in general, I can see the arguments for and against. At this point in the server's life though they are often the only way to ever get certain items, especially for people like me who have somewhat of a real life and can't sock dragons like I used to.
