Where did I complain about a lack of equipment? I'm a huge fan of Ross Enamait and have built all kinds of exercise equipment that he designed after I bought his book "Never Gymless" 15 years ago. I have a dip and pullup bar next to my computer and use a standing desk to play games because I am pretty focused on fitness. But no, this is not the same as weight lifting. Doing pushups in my bedroom is not going to give me the same strength results as heavy lifting - nor is heavy lifting a proper substitute for endurance. When I quit going to the gym I was dead lifting 600+ pounds and bench pressing 400 (1RM). I don't have the space or the type of housing that can store this expensive type of equipment, nor do I have a lifting partner to spot me. At a proper gym that is much less of an issue.
I also strongly advocate jogging (or walking) for general fitness. I don't care how out of shape you are, you can always walk to burn calories/fat.

Ok this confirms it's definitely RecondoJoe (although we knew that before). He said these same exact things on his prior account.
