It could just be anecdotal, but it seem that pets cast their spells less often than before.

A lvl 39 fire pet with buffs and usual gear/weapons SHOULD be able to solo a spectre. Never tried it myself tho. Just by virtue of being higher level than a specter alone it should be able to win vs 1.
I dont know why mage pets have been nerfed so much on P99, but frankly its absurd. necros can fear kite nonstop, enchanters can charm pets way stronger than a mage pet of the same level, and also never run out of mana, this in the context of actually fight mobs that give real exp.
Where does that leave mages. Our pets can handle high green, light blue mobs 1v1 Anything higher and the pet requires help. Which is fine, but you dont see necros and enchanters seitting for 3-5 min between a fights with dark blues.
The range thing is so fking annoying now. Enemy mob is 30 feet away. Sorry master, I am unable to attack that target....
Are the devs going to see this? are they going to listen and revert all these mage pet nerfs? No they will not. You know they wont.
And what about mages?

And it’s not just our pets, our nukes are nerfed too. Back in live classic, I would fire a lava bolt without a target and watch it fly all the way across a zone til it went out of clip range. And if there was an enemy in the path of that bolt, it would hit and do damage. All the bolt spells did that.
Bolt spells still have a long range, (But not that long) and I dont think u can cast them without a target now.

And lets not even talk about our epics...

You have done a lot of research in the first 39 levels of playing a class. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
