Are you new to the world, not just the internet, in general? Everything and everyone, generally speaking, will fuck you over in this world if you don't CYA. The people who helped code THJ, i think largely didn't realize what they were going to do with this. Supposedly Secrets had a lot of help with the code base, and she had no idea it would be used in this way. This is a few individuals fucking others over for some cash. Story as old as time.
