Default Do you guys remember how they would frequently launch new servers?

I remember it was common for my friends and I to try to re-roll on new servers so we could try to be the first high level players there (in hindsight IDEK what that would have accomplished had we succeeded).

But also I remember it was also common for entire guilds to re-roll on new servers to try and get their shot at being the top uncontested guild on the newest server etc.

I guess my point is that new servers didn't go through a phase where legacy items like Manastones and Guise of Deceiver dropped. Those were already removed from the game before the newer servers were released.

And ultimately what I'm trying to say is binding at Fire Pots was never classic.

I bet most players didn't even know what fire pots were 25 years ago, let alone that they had a very small window of opportunity to bind at them. I remember losing my body in TD after discovering that beautiful island and getting ganked by faydedar on my way out.

And getting close to the 24 hour window where my corpse would delete because I had been swimming around TD for over 20 hours looking for it. Finally got my body because a Druid friend showed up to help me and neither of us never saw the fire pots or discussed them.

INB4 someone larps that fire pots was super meta and every player despite having no maps or anything and faydedar likely being up was regularly using them in 2000.
