8992 and 11175 freq on a ham radio you can hear the air force doing 1 time pad encrypted messages it's for nukes and how they used to communicate with u2 planes back in the day it's obviously not the main channel for this shit for decades now but in the event of idk say China blowing up a satellite or something it's a backup system

you hear pilots just talking randomly also sometimes, was listening one night and one of the cargo planes in the middle of the ocean used it to radio in his landing gear was fucked and they had a back n forth for like 5 minutes about it

the code names of the radio operator are funny sometimes also lot of band names from the 80s and 90s used.
