Are six large sewing kits really the best item to carry items in your inventory?
They are the cheapest way to get as many Giant-sized slots as possible. More slots means fewer trips back to town to sell ... which means more time leveling and looting.

That being said, the large sewing kit only holds 8 items, weighs 3 stone, and has no weight reduction. Eevntually you can do better.

For instance, the Shralok Pack also holds 8 Giant items, but it only weighs 0.4 stone, and reduces the weight of items placed inside by 25%. Depending on your class, you can likely farm these packs yourself at level 22 or 23.

But there are lots of bags: https://wiki.project1999.com/Bags. The "gold standard" is the Bag of the Tinkers, with 10 giant slots, 1.0 stone weight, 100% weight reduction (although raiders can acquire an even lighter version).
