Are we allowed to like AI art?

in the first quote, the way it shows its "thinking"

is that just a novelty? its not really thinking like that, its just creating a "translation" in our language of what its doing?

Like is it creating steps/checklists for it to fill out later to create the final piece?

Like basically creating a skeletal system/outline of the piece, and ensuring that it has the propper bullet points to build an engaging story?
