Yea I got to see hyenas super up close (5 feet away behind a chain link fence) as they were being fed. My two takeaways were: 1. Holy shit those things are a LOT bigger in person and 2. Wow that excited laughing noise is 5x as loud and 10x as ominous when it’s only 5 feet away. You can feel it boom in your stomach
