I find the nero arguments compelling. But when you put them together in context you see that yeah, flat earth arguments are compelling too. The book of revelations is an extension of the promise (that is written about without code) that jesus gave his followers. Only people who are not his followers insist that it's not a religion, it's an old dusty book, with history written throughout it, except for the ONE part that is meant to literally be history, that's written in the future tense and only smart people will figure out that it's acdtually past tense. Ironically, not one smart person had that idea until one thousand eight hundered years later. Even though at the time "speaking in code" is something they claim was common (which there is no evidence for whatsoever). There is no historical evidence indicating anyone spoke in code about any roman leaders to avoid persecution. And in the bible they mention nero's persicution. They also talk about other historical events. This would be the only one written in such abstract code. | |||
