That being said, there are certain scenarios that would enrage me beyond reason or critical thought. Seeing my girl, or even any girl (or any vulnerable person such as a kid or old person), getting physically whaled on by some dude would likely cause an instant physical confrontation with me And if I’m going to fight, I fully intend to win that fight. I don’t have much formal training and I acknowledge that. But I’ve seen countless street fight videos and many seem to have one large similarity: either the guys can’t throw hard, or I think choose not to. I think a lot of guys start a street fight only going like 70-80% of max. And then sometimes they realize oh shit is this like life or death? And then they turn it up. But me, I am worried I could and WOULD throw much harder than most guys I see in street fights And it’s not meant to be a braggy thing but a concern thing. Like I just saw the vid of the guy in NY who DA Alvin Bragg tried to nail to the wall legally for defending himself against a crazy homeless guy attacking him with a board with nails in it At first hearing the headline, and already hating Alvin Bragg, I was like WTF! But then I saw the vid. And like most homeless guys, this one was borderline emaciated. He was a fucking twig. Yeah he had a board with nails. And he swung it with the force of a 5th grader. And the Asian dude (not nearly a fighter himself), rained like 12 punches to the bum’s face breaking all his orbital bones See I see that vid and I think “I wouldn’t have fought that homeless guy, even though he was attacking me. Because it was a half assed attack, he’s super weak, and I would have easily EASILY killed him. Better to just get away, maybe push him down if needed to help with that” So while I don’t agree that the Asian guy should get the multiple felonies Alvin Bragg wanted to charge him with, he shoulda realized it was a complete mis-match of a fight, to use combat sports terminology | |||
