Pets that don't take commands - do they remember /pet taunt status?

So there are a few pets which don't accept /pet commands.

Other pets do, for example /pet taunt off.

If I use /pet taunt off (say with a charm pet) and then switch to an animation then will the animation run under pet taunt off logic, or does it reset the command to it's default state (on)?
