I really don't see what makes the reactionaries mad about this (other than their racism/classism, e.g. them being incensed at the hypothetical concept of getting a ticket from someone they see as "beneath" them)
I have a Korean-American friend who got his citizenship due to his service in the Marine Corps and later the Army. It's fine. Foreign nationals, much less naturalized DACA recipients, fought on behalf of this country centuries ago and they continue to do it today.
