Default Emissary of Thule and Pet damage

In the most recent patch ( 8.13.2011 ) The Max hit for the lvl 59 Necro pet spell was lowered from 69 to 61. Obviously there had to be documented reason for this change, and Im not here to complain about that. If its classic, then its classic. I played a Wizard from release to 2004, so I wouldnt know.

Please hear out my issue: I am concerned about all these changes to pet classes. Not because we are fixing things back to classic and im complaing about "nerfs". The problem is, we seem to be selecting everything that is " more powerful " Than classic, but leaving out all kinds of things that are classic, that do not work right.

You focused on this paticular spell, changed its damage to what you believe is classic. This pet is supposed duel weild without needing to give weapons to it. It is one of this spells perks. later on they changed it to all pets duel wielding. But this pet in paticular always did, yet we refuse to address it. This pet is also supposed to tripple attack, yet It doesnt. 8 points of damage is not entirely game changing, but we feel the need to spend our energy fixing this, but refuse to change the other "wrong" aspects.

I am overly frustrated with the way we address things at times. I say "we" because I feel a part of this "project". I try to help others, I attempt to post about bugs I encounter etc.

All I ask is that when we address the " this is too powerful", we also address other things like pet taunt being completely useless. pets not duel weilding when they should. Pet distance when told to attack ( should be almost the entire zone, not 25 ft. ) and countless other things that areput on the back burner because we tend to focus on Damage.

Thanks
