GM event today
Lanys T'Vyl paid a visit to the Overthere today and requested help in recovering a staff from the Elder Dragon Lord Kazira.

A bunch of us evils offered our assistance and we all went to Skyfire to 'convince' the dragon that the staff was better off with Lanys.

A brief discussion between Lanys and Lord Kazira resulted in Lanys asking we mere mortals to slay the dragon...which we did.

Lanys recovered the staff and Dorvias N'Keth appeared to convince Lanys to give up the staff to him. Seems there is some division within the dark elf heirarchy :P

Anyway, Lanys and Dorvias fought it out and Lanys fell in battle although she wasn't killed. Lanys then called on her 'army' (that being us) to do her dirty work. We all immediately jumped in and caused Dorvias to flee in terror.

So that was pretty much it. A number of us received coin tokens as rewards which we handed in to NPC's in Neriak and OT for various items. I received Al'Kabors Ring of True Sight and considering that all I did was hit Lanys' enemies a few times and bowed and kneeled a lot I was pretty happy.

Lanys did indicate that there would be need for our help in future and mentioned Befallen and Mistmoore.

I also attended the event and received a coin. VERY dissapointing. I received a Thexian loop : AC 5 effect HAste earring. Whoopie. Does my necro alot of good. Was told by GMs cant be traded in. What a lame reward, you'd think they would give rewards based on class. I'd rather have given this to one of the melee classes that attended. Now I have a melees earring wet dream set sitting in the bank: This hoop and a Sarnak earring of station. Last event I'm goin to, wasnt worth pissing off my wife and getting 3 1/2 hours sleep. I hope everyone else that got coins received something they could actually use.
