I wonder if this idea seems good as a basis for ya know, mechanics, the system, ya know that stuff like d20.. that for the game.
Ability attributes. Just 3. Body, Mind, Soul. Every check in the game from how hit points are calculated, trade skills, resistance, basically choose from those 3, one major and one minor influence. Possible Combinations being: BODY/body BODY/mind BODY/soul MIND/body MIND/mind... So it can be basically interpreted as 9 attributes? Seems universally applicable considering D&D etc.. use around 6 or less? And the subliminal effects of only being given control over less more broad strokes of your character. It may inherently discourage a min/max mindset when one sits down to game?.. just thinking about it is all... | ||
