was watching some intellectual on youtube explain it as a meme in the richard dawkins sense of the word and that until we find a way to make it not look "cool" to those who feel bullied and thrown away from society there's no way to fix it. if you open up 4chan /pol/ right now there is probably a hundred posts praising the Dylan Roofs and others. they even have a ranking system of shooters by "high score" in how many kills they got. the more brutal and racially/religiously bent the killings the more praise and memes you get created with your image. the christchurch guy has like hundreds of images of him portrayed as a saint fighting a relgious battle because he targeted a muslim mosaic
