It isn't hard. The US is part of a flotilla, to continue the naval references. The Bretton Woods agreement led to a wagon that everyone decided was a good way to prevent currency sinks, aka, depressions. And then the petro era gives birth to the petrodollar. More linkage. Look at the constant cycles of gloom in the 19th century.

Linkage of economic engines creates an overall mutual stability. The best way to stop a guy from moving into your business is to hire him. Etc. Nash Equation. Only the US gets to be the blonde, remember?
People too focused on the US alone is like looking at a weather map that does not include what's happening in Canada, and thinking you have a optimum perspective to make your calls on what tomorrow will bring. It's just ... fucking old.

US to the world: When you float the fleets, then you get to ask the US about its money presses, ok buddy?
The entire free world: DONE!

this should be basic. People need to wake up. It's not the 80's anymore man! You don't get it! Miracle on Ice was clown world warm up act, my friends. Then we went full clown and invented ass cancer! Hell yeah! How exactly did you expect this to roll? We put a man on the moon. Don't be goofin' on Elvis. It's tricky. Tricky tricky tricky.
