That's Colorado Springs. That's a USAF club. They call it doing the "touch and goes" there.


OFF TOPIC: That was supposed to be the line in TG:M btw. When it's dogfighting training? The bet with pushups? That was dubbed in. If you watch their lips, the bet is "how about 200 touch and goes?"


And Tom replies, "Guys, that's a lot of touch and goes." The tarmac scenes were not originally push-ups (UP. DOWN.), it was Tom getting teabagged over and over. Up. Down. Phoenix had to do 200 clam drops.


This was a film made with pretty heavy input from the USAF, so that's why the "touch and goes" bet was in the movie. The pilots are still pissed it got removed. "Not realistic!" they bellow. But Hollywood said "They can't handle the truth!" where "they," gentle reader, is you.
