I will dumb it down for you. Think for a minute Baler. If masks are used to prevent future infections that could occur during a sterile surgery do you think masks are a good idea when trying to prevent infection? That sounds great if true!

Still doesn't address the question of long term side effects, which can't possibly be known until the covid vaccines have existed in the long term. We currently have about *one* year of good data on them at scale. It's scientifically incoherent to declare they are safe. At best you can say "They seem to be safe, so far", which is fine. But the disease they are supposed to prevent is also not very dangerous. Yes people have died from it, just as people die from the flu, and I still just want to know how many masks you wore in 1998 for the flu season? Just to check and see if this is politically motivated, ya know?
