I am pretty sure riding out a hurricane at or near sea level is a different scenario than riding on an airplane, but I haven't flown anywhere since July 2021 so I can't be sure.

I might also be skeptical of bothering to evacuate after so many mostly false alarms, but if I see dead kids floating on the news it's gonna make me feel bad.
