I believe that may have to do with short term memory loss, I'm familiar with 'loops' as you call them. The worst part as a rookie acid user is if you start to question how you are acting around the other people on acid, can be quite an interesting case of introspective paranoia.

I agree, I'd even say generally that's the worst part about psychedelics in general.
