Bold move with an unproven genre in a niche hobby (far smaller than it is now). The promise of the future was great, mind blowing as it was I couldn't imagine what 10 years from then would be like.

20 years later we have New World, backed by one of the most wealthy companies in the world. I simply don't understand it and blame the mix-up that happened during the Vista, Xbox 360 & PS3 years, when a lot of traditional PC titles began being made for console compatibilities. But that still doesn't explain New World. It's the Kedge Keep example I gave earlier..

It was during the WoW years that MMORPG gamers became known as people who only play on pawn shop laptops.
