There are plenty of people cheating and using loopholes as is from fake homeless people making $20 an hour to ceos. Thats what got us in this budget mess. I could care less if a struggling college student gets food stamps.

What I care about more is fixing the food stamp system back to where they issue out actual stamps instead of the Credit cards so you're embarrased as shit using them. They should also limit them to actual food instead of redbull, candy and expensive steaks. Also you shouldnt be able to use them at farmers markets and whole food stores. They should be limited to stores like Costco/Lucky/Safeway. If you want to eat your cherry garcia and enjoy your 30$ new york steak, you better not put it on the taxpayers tab.

Anyone caught abusing the system should have to do community service at a shelter and see people first hand that actually need that money.

I agree to a certain extent. My take would be if you have to get foodstamps or wellfair. Your entire life should be regulated by the government to the extent of a PO officer to a convinct. This may sound cruel , but ultimately you would have the choice not to havet his , providing you didn't need a handout. Therefore if you need to government to help you. Be prepared for it to treat you like a child and be evasive in your entire life. Or.... Make regulations and demands for wellfair products , and if they don't meet them lock em up in jail.
