You already admitted groups aren't gong to be chain pulling mobs at 60, which was the entire argument for Mages[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Nobody cares about 30 DPS when doing level 60 item farming like Fungi King.

Sorry you have to deal with the fact that mages do 50% more DPS than shamans. I know this is difficult. I'm confident you'll find a way to cope with it eventually!
