The height is definitely part of it. The larger you are, the more cells you have, the more that can get wrong, especially cancer. I forget the exact data I read in a study but being 6'4 compared to 5'6 is like the same increase in cancer and cardiovascular risk as being a pack a day smoker and alcoholic.
