I'm so glad I have the government to protect me from myself. Can you imagine if I had to make my own decisions and be responsible? Life would be so hard!

So Mr. Man, I shouldn't do drugs? Why? Because they're bad for me? Well, isn't junk food bad for me? Oh, that doesn't impair my judgement, you say? Well, isn't alcohol bad for me? Oh, we tried prohibiting that once and it led to a massive black market and violent cartels?
