Yep. I was mad when they nerfed some of the more complicated puzzle aspects of some of the miniquests in favor of more complex scavenger hunt style mechanics oh well.

Apparently some really unlucky fella gambled $10k and didn't win anything in DI? I feel like it's another exaggerated headline, I didn't open his video to analyze. And I think the gist is there's a daily cap on rewards? I don't think u can pay to really get around it.
The big money p2w elements should definitely have no RNG or gambling mechanic. Just strait up pay 1k for a 5/5 or something that is 2/5 and can be upgraded.

The game seems to have a pretty robust end game, but it’s a lot of repetition. You probably wouldn’t want to try to do all of the F2P stuff you could in a day because it would take too much time
It’s still been fun as F to just solo through as F2P. I DL’d it on PC to make a wizard bc they use mostly skillshots which are kind of a pain on phone to aim, I think my wiz is in his 20’s. On PC you can move with wasd and hotkey spells to whatever key you want so it plays like WoW. I wanted to roll the wizard for end game pvp char bc I heard that the pvp battlegrounds use a MMR matchmaking system, so the whales tend to get matched to other whales and scrubs to scrubs
This is my baller lev 34 necro main. Just found a legendary scythe off some trash spider. Don’t mind his stupid helmet, at my lev it’ll be replaced in like a day anyway
