The police will not save u ever from an active shooter tho. Only if the shooter was dumb enough to charge a police position without cover. Anyway. S.W.A.T. will eventually breach if the target is important enough. Otherwise they'll wait and try to catch u when not looking or just let you go.

Some guy shotgunned some guy dead out on a jog in broad daylight public where I lived multiple witnesses. This was in the big city years ago. Doubt it's much changed. The police didn't even bother to arrest the guy cause they where hoping to gather evidence on other crimes or something. So the perp just got on a bus and left. Dunno if anyone ever did anything or cared enough to even put out a federal warrant or whatever. Probably not even an email or photo. So.

Some guy killing loads of civilians with a big gun? Most cops will not engage with a silly little 9mm.

Ya'll are on ur own. Sometimes the police are an alright deterrent tho. Tbh I would pay them better and arm them better. And let them just shoot ppl more. And hire more of them. And yeah gun free zones are stupid.

I'm all like for everyone abled being police and gunning down criminals. Just give em a written exam and like rewards for every bagged bad guy. Don't even bother with uniforms. Let ppl buy their own kit.
