Very old design that wasn't a sticker on anyone's old trucks back in the day, at least not in any large amount. Rednecks couldn't display a symbol to rile up their political-counterparts, other than a shotgun rack which were common once.
At most maybe a "take it from my cold dead hands" sticker but never a single weapons system in this vast nation filled with all manner of firearms. But they marketed the Ar-15 for this purpose, it's for sale at Wal-Mart. It is used in politiks.
Hard to attack something without a target. Those rednecks made themselves a target. Then they get into dumb arguments about who is going to shoot who and which rape victim is the biggest victim, something about militias and fighting the government that is mixed in with wild boasts about a bro's freak genetics and how bullets can't kill him.
