Some of my ammo has moret han quadrupled in value since the first obama term when I sold a bunch of popular ammo and bought a bunch of stuff that could still be had cheaply.

And all ammo has about doubled since Trump's race war years and has only barely come back down. It's not the best way to bury your money but it can't hurt.

There are no sure fire investments otherwise everyone would do it. When inflation is a real threat, hard assets of some kind are your best bet, so really a down payment on a house might be worthwhile but if the market tanks you will be feeling dumb so its a gamble.
