I agree with some of what you have said, and as much as criticize government I like human beings on the whole. However, I think the main reason is there's more death is that there are far more humans alive now than there have ever been... I guess as far as we can know.

Religion is an interesting philosophical tool. It helps take the savage man and guides him to be civilized.

If religion is fake, and humans are evolutionary animals.

Then think about what religion actually is. It's the tool that savage animals used to become human.

Ironically, if science is right, religion is still the tool that made us who we are. That made humans the top of the food chain, and created every society we have on earth. All the good in the world, was brought to us by the aid of the philosophy of religion, and nothing else. That's a fact.

All the crime and tragedy is because of our instincts.

The desire to do good always comes out of the promise of something greater, that's a belief system.

The belief system that ruled them all was a message of piece and that the meek would inherit the earth.

It's the opposite of the animal in us.

But secularists have amde us think that survival of the fittest is how humans invent great things and become our own gods!

Religion is just a philosophy that individuals becoming a god is not what makes the many happy.
