I guess nothing ever gets stolen in places where the houses are spaced so far apart they cant see one another. I'll bet NOBODY ever goes into remote farms to steal equipment, trucks, supplies, etc. I'll even bet that historically, stealing cows and horses was NEVER a problem in the rural areas. Branding cattle is just for fashion purposes. A cows is five thousand dollars, who would steal a cow or twenty at once? Hundred grand for a nights work, that wouldnt tempt anyone, ever.

No such thing as "crime free zones".

People be stealing. You think that the thieves wont just go to a "crime free zone" where everyones guard is down to ply their trade?
