It is fundamentally unfair and misleading to compare people who are hesitant to get covid vaccines to people who think that giving their kids a measles vaccine will cause autism from the mercury or whatever nutty shit they believe.

They aren't the same thing, and treating them like they are the same is just a dishonest smear tactic people use to dismiss people's legitimate concerns over both short term and as-yet-unknown long term side effects.
