Years ago, after the hood ornament my sunday-driver Coupe de Ville was stolen (a common fate of the gold Cadillac crests), I rigged the new one to the horn via a simple circuit attached to the hood ornament's spring-loaded mount. Sure enough, when it goes into the shop for something I usually hear the horn give a couple random blasts. That's my cue to open the shop door and give 'em the I Know What You're Doing glance. It's like clockwork so maybe I ought to record it next time, although more likely I'll just forget.
