it was working for 2 decades and we spend a meager amount of military spending to do it.
Maybe you're right and one day it will be hate speech to say the Taliban are a bunch of scum sucking disgusting awful people that if someone asked me, "should we leave and let them take over and we just high tail it out of there" I would have probably said no to that.
