If the answer is, "yes" which I assume if you are a gun owner then aren't you just admitting that you feel you can't defend yourself because you feel others may have a gun or some other lethal force and you have to level the field. I get it, humans are smart and if it wasn't a gun it would be something else but in many cases we regulate that something else for that reason. I can't buy a high enough powered blue laser light in stores or online for this reason; even thou it would be very, very cheap to have a weapon like this and to mass produce it. You could even argue you could just as easily 3d print guns if needed but the idea in part to reduce the number of guns is just to have way, way, way less of them and to relax the situation. The number of guns in America is just too high. And I know you might think you can't go to the extremes of getting rid of all guns. But believe it or not there are free countries (with a large population) that have done a damn good job of just about that even when they had guns. Democrats and Republicans have very much the same values if you look at a different way to resolve their issue often thought of as too extreme by one side. Example: Make Capitalism great enough and give anyone an opportunity put in socialism and ensure no one isn't taken care of. etc... | |||
