It went great. The tuning was perfect from what I saw. The lower levels got to have some fun, Daliant got DTed trying to KS one from a newb, and it made the higher levels help some lower levels out.

The fire giants were tweaked up to an appropriate challenge, every raid guild combined to about 100 total present, and still nearly wiped to an unexpected Skarlon pull. I was really glad to see that even some 50+ from non-raiding guilds came and participated.

Brosama himself was level 65 with 128k hp, vs's proc, velk's aggro drop on a 30 second cooldown, and gravity flux on a 45 second cooldown. He was designed so that everyone would have to work together to make it happen. The goal was to implement enough survivablity to make it unzergable, to shit all over midnight mallets, and make people react quickly to changes in aggro and positioning with all of the lava nearby.

They held on really well, at 10% they started to lose people and healers were going oom. It looked like he was going to pull out ahead, but they stepped up their game and got him down.
It was pretty fun realizing that he wouldn't stick on any tank and our cheal rotation was going off like headless chickens trying to cheal tanks who no longer had aggro/wouldn't have it... It was a crazy fun event IMO, even got the lowbies involved.
