Really depends on where you live. As a gamer I have a TON of friends who are from California, and I always felt a little bit jealous of them because they all make over $100K a year easily, and it made me think "man, I shoulda' stayed in school." Well, I was in tree work the last several years, and when the wild fires in California began happening, they shipped us out to California. I quickly learned that the same company I work for in Virginia pays their workers over in California insanely more.

A Flagger for Asplundh where I live makes roughly $10-12/hr. A flagger for Asplundh in Santa Clarita makes $150,000 a year. This is why I think it's actually insane that there's a cut off for this stimulus check. The state with the largest amount of unemployed people (California), is probably well above the threshold for the most part.
