Anyway I prefer something larger than the nuclear family, like it sounds like you do. Nuclear family as in isolation from extendeds is garbage. Lastly -- my parents didn't abuse me, in fact I was a high investment kid, valedictorian, all that. A very lucky childhood where nobody died or abandoned me. And yup, I turned out to be a pretty girl anyway...perhaps because?!
