YES! This definitely feels good.

I planted the last two white eggplant seeds from the small packet I bought last year, of which, none sprouted, last week. I'm hoping this time, grouping it with other Nightshades, and providing it partial shade stimulates a sprouting.

I also planted two Haas Avocado seeds, which I will pair with Leeks this year, which I will likely never get to reap the rewards of, if our plans to buy a house in the next year pan out.

I've seen giant potted citrus in European gardens, but maybe the Avocado will be ok for a year or two? Easier to protect them from freezes as well.
