I haven't logged into EQ in a couple weeks... so definitely not immersed at the moment.

That said, Riot *clearly* pushed for the harsh punishments, and refused to rotate because they felt that they were on top and in a position of strength to lean on the competition. They did this because they felt things would never change. Unfortunately for them, circumstances have changed.

The entire server wanted blood for when Ghost/Freedom failed wars in 2020. GMs granted it. Appears the shoe is on other foot now.
