I'm still a little unsure what the President (elect)'s son's employment has to do with his father's office (abroad, or even at all). Conflict of interest, or is there more to it than that?

I don't want to 'Trump bad, Biden good', because obviously, as a foreigner I don't really have a troll under that bridge, but Trump has a lot of foreign business interests, which seems more relevant to the president than what his son's business interests are.

Were these connections of Trumps the reason behind his attempted impeachment? or are the two impeachments not really connected by a similar thread?

edit: I want to loop back to Biden just because this obviously isn't about Trump, but the fact each has been in line for impeachment is interesting. Were Obama or Bush given the same treatment?
